Recognised as one of the masters of comtemporary design, Lissoni founded Studio Lissoni (Lissoni Associati), with Nicoletta Canesi, upon graduating from the Politecnico di Milano in 1986. The multidisciplinary company now has offices in Milan and New York and focuses on projects worldwide in the fields of architecture, product design, graphics and visual communication.
He has collaborated with the most prestigious international brands including Alessi, Benetton, Boffi, Cappellini, Cassina, Flos/ antares, Fritz Hansen, Glas Italia, Kartell, Knoll International, Lema, Living Divani, Matteograssi, Poltrona Frau, Porro, Tecno, Tecno and Thonet.
During his career he has received many professional awards, including the Good Design Award, the Red Dot Award and the ADI Compasso d'Oro 2014. Since 2005, he has been a member of the "Hall of Fame", I.D. Magazine International Design Award USA.
