Carlo Bartoli

Carlo Bartoli

Born in Milan in 1931, Bartoli is an internationally recognised architect and designer. Following his graduation in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in (XXX) he embarked on a career in architecture before specialising in interior and industrial design, designing furnishings and comsumer goods for mass production.

He is the Professor of Design at the Upper Course of Industrial Design, Florence and his designs feature in many exhibitions and Art Galleries globally. One of his most famous designs is the Gaia armchair which is on display in the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMa) in New York and the Design Museum of Milan Triennale.
